Sardines are indeed fishy and meaty, dense, and oily in texture. This fish has tender flesh. Boiled sardines are soft and tender, and can be bland without any seasoning.

Cooking tips:

Use your favorite spices to create a more colorful dish. To grill should Marinate the sardines in lemon juice, olive oil, black pepper and paprika in a shallow dish for 30 minutes.
